Believe it or not, I just (2013) read about the club in an article printed in 1995. I still have, bought new, an 84 GPZ Turbo. It has the rear Marvic from the FZR Superbike named "fastest USA Superbike" by Cycle News in 1989. That bike and mine were tuned by the great Greg Kvitkaukas of K&P Cycles. It also has a Dynamag front, a Works shock, a fork brace, a steering damper, and some one-off slip-ons from a start up exhaust company trying to sway us away from D&D at the time. The rear brake rotor is a slimmed down one from the Superbike of Mitch Marque of that time. All those suspension mods cured the wiggles as mentioned in the magazine test from that time. My best quarter miles times at Orlando Speedway was a 9.99, and that was with the original rims. I had dialed a 10 flat for the win so some sweet and sour.
